What is Hip Hop?

Hip Hop is hard to pin down because, most of it, exists in the Non-Physical Realms of Existence.

And, as we all discover, The World is concerned with all things Physical and Popular.

However, this Blog Post is for you.

You need a definition and I’m here to deliver.

Hip Hop can be defined as a Genre of Music, but that is short-sighted.

It can be defined as a Lifestyle, but that is still short-sighted.

It can be defined as a Culture, but that is also short-sighted.

It can be defined as a Global Movement, and that would be close, but not an exact definition.

The closest definition I have encountered is a Spiritual Invocation of Light and the Sacred Feminine, but that definition goes way beyond the common person’s ability to grasp.

So, my brother in the Movement (Professor Griff) has given it its proper definition.
