Episode 4 – Joseph Campbell and Jerusalem
The Microsoft Ocean was only 3 miles away.
The wonderful sun I praised earlier today was now a ravaging tyrant.
I noticed a lemonade stand and stopped and ordered the mythical lemon grade option.
As I sat and sipped, the owner approached me.
He sat and eyed the far horizon, there’s something magical about a quest, isn’t it? From the looks of you, I’d say you’re a man entering the Magical World. Where are you from?
I’m from Herusalem.
Wow, what a wonderful place! I’ve been there several times, a lovely home. So what brings you way out here, are you seeking the Golden Pen?
Yes sir, how did you know?
The Sirens came here earlier and told me about a wonderful young man that chose Macintosh.
I didn’t choose her.
You’re also new young traveler. The three sirens ALWAYS steer travelers in the right direction. I find it amazing though, you ignored Microsoft and Linux and chose Macintosh.
He eyed another traveler closing in, so he smiled.
Here’s a relic that will help you on your journey.
What is it?
It’s called a URL, you’ll need this after you find the Golden Pen.
Thank you, but I never got your name.
I own this wonderful lemonade stand and my name is Joseph Campbell, good luck finding your path on the Hero’s Journey.
