Overview

You’ve heard the term, over and over.

And you peer at it, then breathe, and go on with your life.

Days later, you see the term again.

Like before, you sigh and continue on with your life.

Again, you see the term.

Oh My Goodness, you scream!

And on a Fall Sunday Evening, you vow to yourself to get to the bottom of this new term.

What is the Creator Economy?

Many define it as the class of businesses built by indie content creators, curators, influencers, videographers, and bloggers.

You sigh and wonder, is this true?

Is this really all there is to the Creator Economy?

Is it just a bunch of talented individuals taking over the world?

However, you blink a few times and take a deeper dive.

What does this have to do with me?

And as you read, more ideas come to you.

Really big ideas.

How do I become a curator?

How do I become a creator?

How do I become an influencer?

As you browse the web, a certain phrase keeps popping up.

Content Creation.

What does this have to do with me?

And you continue reading and discover about Content.

Content is a simple idea = it’s everything I create!

And as you realize the prospects, the ideas flood your psyche.

What if I do this?

What if I do that?

What if I collaborate with so-and-so on this Project?

Why would I team up with HER?

And you have an epiphany.

I can do this!

Then, you pause and wonder, but how?

You do more research and realize the Creator Economy is based on several factors:

Foundational Media Platforms

Monetization

Self-Identifying as Creator/Owner

From these factors, you realize the Creator Economy is not a simple thing and requires more specifics, pushing for new ideas:

What do you love more than anything else?

How do you share your passion?

How can you do this better than anyone else?

Why would anyone care about this?

As you answer the questions, your business idea starts forming in your mind.

After you finish, you take your ideas, put them in a presentation, and pitch them to your professional community on LinkedIn.

The responses shoot in and you get wonderful feedback:

Love the idea!

Why didn’t you share this with me six months ago?

Can you cater your business to my industry?

How do I invest?

After such great response, you develop a logo, build your website, and create a short and proper trailer.

Then, your inbox is flooded with email responses.

After answering all your emails, you plop down on your sofa and ponder your weekend.

You presented your pitch on Friday.

You received over 15k for your business.

You got several offers for ads and sponsors.

Your website got over 15k views in three days.

And you eye the ceiling, put on some 80s music, and a powerful thought enters your mind.

Welcome to the Creator Economy.
